MLAS Information Sessions Coming to Dryden and Thunder Bay

We are coming to northwestern Ontario to answer your questions on how to access and use Ontario’s new electronic Mining Lands Administration System (MLAS). Ontario is moving to online mining claim registration when the new system fully launches on April 10, 2018.

Mining Lands Section staff will hold information sessions at three different venues:

Dryden: Tuesday, March 27, 2018
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sandy Ferguson Room
Holiday Inn Express
585 Government St. Dryden, ON

And we will be at the Ontario Prospectors Association 2018 Exploration Showcase:

Thunder Bay: Tuesday, April 3, 2018
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Please note that the Exploration Showcase requires that you be registered for the event. Staff will be available to meet clients and answer questions on how to register and use the new system.

An open presentation in Thunder Bay for those not able to visit us at the showcase will take place:

Reminder – Temporary MLAS Shutdown

We remind you that MLAS is unavailable from March 15 to April 9 to prepare for the launch of Stage 2 on April 10. MLAS enrollment will resume on April 10, 2018. New and existing clients will be able to create and update profiles.
