MAM Update - Special 2017 Ontario Prospectors Exploration Showcase Edition

Learn More About Modernizing the Mining Act at the 2017 Showcase

Ontario’s Mining Act Modernization team will be at the 2017 Ontario Prospectors Exploration Showcase in Thunder Bay April 4-6 providing a number of opportunities for explorationists to learn more about Schedule 2 of the proposed Aggregate Resources and Mining Modernization Act (Bill 39). With Bill 39 approaching third reading, claim holders and licensees need to prepare for our proposal to move Ontario from ground staking and paper map staking to online mining claim registration, as well as to create an online Mining Lands Administration System (MLAS) that would enhance client access to Ontario’s mining lands data.
