Thursday, August 07, 2003 -- Denise Boileau, Club Richelieu – Les Perles du Nord member and Marielle Cléroux, Club President, recieves a cheque for $10,000 from Alan Spacek, Vice-Chair of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation. Today's funding will be used to purchase equipment to enhance the operations and capabilities of Club Richelieu. |

Thursday, August 07, 2003 -- Lise Daigneault, Chair of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) and Fern Trembley, former chair of the CNIB, receive a cheque for $9,734 from Alan Spacek, Vice-Chair of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation. Today's funding will be used to renovate the roof and interior of the CNIB office building on Fifth Avenue in Timmins. |
