Ontario Government Invests In North’s Film Industry

Friday, November 18, 2005 -- Rick Bartolucci, Minister of Northern Development and Mines, today announced funding of $250,000 from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation for "Barstool Words", a feature film currently being shot in the Sudbury area. Several Sudbury residents are contributing their skills and experience as cast and crew members, and about 120 Sudburians have been hired as extras in the film, which is expected to be released in Canadian theatres at the end of 2006.
