Tuesday, July 15, 2008 -- A new tourism centre devoted to green technologies is being developed in Hearst with the support of the Ontario government. Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle (second from left) made the announcement in Hearst accompanied by (left to right) Hearst Economic Devlopment Corporation General Manager Daniel Sigouin, Rufus Lake Outfitters Owner Rick Wilkins, Hearst Mayor Roger Sigouin, and Duval Welding Owner Normand Duval.

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 -- Northern Development and Mines Minister and Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) chair Michael Gravelle (second from left) and former Minister of Northern Development and Mines René Fontaine (far left) present Mattice businessman Normand Duval (second from right), proprietor of Duval’s welding, and his son Daniel Duval (far right), with a commemorative plaque recognizing Duval’s Welding as one of the original businesses to receive Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) assistance in 1988. Minister Gravelle presented the plaque in celebration of the NOHFC’s 20th anniversary.
