Wednesday, October 08, 2008 -- Northern Development and Mines Minister and Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) chair Michael Gravelle presents Parry Sound business owners Bert and Heidi Krummrei, proprietors of Parry Sound Stone Studio Siku, with a commemorative plaque recognizing their enterprise as one of the original businesses to receive Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) assistance in 1988. Minister Gravelle presented the plaque in celebration of the NOHFC’s 20th anniversary at a reception in Parry Sound. |

Wednesday, October 08, 2008 -- Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) 20th anniversary festivities continued in Parry Sound with an anniversary cake cutting ceremony. On hand for the local event were: (left to right) Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle, who chairs the NOHFC, Chris Hundley, representing South River Power Generation Corporation,Heidi and Bert Krummrei, proprietors of Parry Sound Stone Studio Siku, and Dr. Jennifer Kaster, proprietor of Bayside Naturopathic Clinic in Parry Sound. Minister Gravelle made a number of funding announcements on behalf of the NOHFC. |
