First Nation Minerals Information Officer

Unlike other components of the Resident Geologist Program, the First Nation Minerals Information Officer is not based in a specific geographic region.  Instead, the role of the First Nation Minerals Information Officer is to provide education, information, advice and expertise regarding geology, mineral exploration and mining to First Nation Communities throughout Ontario generally, and northern Ontario particularly. The services of the First Nation Minerals Information Officer are generally available upon request; they are, of course, subject to scheduling and logistical issues.
