Electronic Assessment System

Welcome to the Electronic Assessment System (EAS)!

The Electronic Assessment System allows recorded claim holders or agents acting on their behalf, to file assessment work electronically. Subsection 15(1) of the Electronic Commerce Act allows the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry to receive the assessment work in electronic form.

The assessment folder that is filed electronically using the EAS is accessible only to the filer using an access ID and password until such time that it is approved; and to the Mining Lands Section to which it is directed.

Before You Begin

You must complete your electronic submission within 24 hours of starting. During the 24 hours you can access your assessment folder by using the access ID and password and make changes or additions. Time and date of receipt of your submission will be the time and date of the successful transmission of the completed submission to the Ministry. If you have not completed your submission within 24 hours, all the information you entered will be deleted and you will have to start over and create a new assessment folder.

You will need to have the following information on hand:

Individual files should not exceed 50 Mb in size. Please contact the Ministry for advice if you have digital files larger than 50 Mb. Compressed files are not acceptable.
