What Do I Need?

You must complete your electronic submission within 24 hours of starting. Before you begin make sure you have the following information on hand:

  1. A valid e-mail address for confirmation of your electronic submission.
  2. The dates and costs of the assessment work performed.
  3. The mining claim numbers or disposition "G" numbers where the work was performed and/or to be distributed.
  4. Technical reports in PDF format along with the report: title, year, number of pages, author and who the work was performed for.
  5. Maps in JPEG or PDF formats along with the map: title, year and scale.
  6. Drill holes information: claim holder, hole number, collar coordinates in UTM or Lat./Long., hole type, year, azimuth, dip, length, overburden, significant assays and type of logs.
  7. Any other documents in PDF format, including: contiguity sketches, assay certificates, agent letters and/or option agreements.

How Do I Create a New Assessment Folder?

After Logging in to EAS, you will be on the Electronic Submission of Assessment Work home page. This page gives you an introduction to EAS and also provides instructions on how to proceed. At the bottom of the page are buttons giving you the following options:

By clicking on one of the buttons, you are consenting to providing information in electronic form, and acknowledge that you have read the disclaimers and that you fully understand them and agree to their terms and conditions. Click Create a New Assessment Folder to begin the submission process.

You are now on the 3 Easy Steps to Submit Your Assessment Work Electronically page. This page gives you an outline of how your information will be entered and the steps you must follow to successfully complete this online submission of your assessment work. Click Continue to enter your Submitter Information.

Update a Previously Submitted Assessment Folder

An Electronic Assessment Folder may be updated in one of two cases.

  1. If you created a folder, but did not complete and submit it, you can open the folder and complete your submission, providing it is within the 24-hour timeframe of when the folder was first created.
  2. If you submitted your folder and you received a specific request from the Ministry to make changes because of missing or incorrect information, you can open the folder and make changes to the specific sections. see How to Make Revisions

How to update an Assessment Folder

Enter the Assessment Folder ID number and your Password for the folder.

Click the Update Previously Created or Submitted Assessment Folder button.

You will be brought to the page you were last working on before you logged off. Use the Back or Continue buttons to navigate through the pages to complete your submission.

When your assessment is complete submit it by clicking Done on the Folder Content Summary page.

View a Previously Submitted Assessment Folder

A Submission Folder may be viewed, without worrying about changing or deleting any information accidentally. You will not be able to add, change or delete any information.

Enter the Assessment Folder ID number and your Password for the folder.

You will be brought to the page you were last working on before you logged off. Use the Back or Continue buttons to navigate through the pages to view your submission.

Where am I? How do I get to that Page?

You must use the Back or Continue buttons to navigate through the pages in the Electronic Assessment System. You cannot jump between pages.

The pages in the Electronic Assessment System (EAS) follow the order displayed below.

  1. Submitter Information
  2. Declaration of Assessment Work (Reports of Work)
  3. Technical Documents
  4. Maps
  5. Drill Holes
  6. Mineral Deposits
  7. Other Documents
