Offered
- Purchase claim tags.
- No Mining Act document can be filed
in the Toronto offices, the client must send all Mining Act documents to Sudbury for filing.
- There is a "mail drop
off" box for any Mining Act document for any mining division.
- A toll-free line is available for
clients to call the Provincial Recording
Office, Geoscience
Assessment Office or any Mining Lands Section Staff.
- Client can obtain application for
Prospector's licence and pay the application fee. (Licence will be
issued from the Provincial Recording Office)
- Telephone
Transmission: Claim map order forms can be transmitted to
the Mines Library and
prospector's licence forms can be transmitted to the Provincial Recording Office.
- There is a computer terminal
available for the client, client can access mining claim
maps,
print sections of claim map or order full sized maps through the Mines Library. Clients can also access Mining
Claims Information (MCI) or the Mining Lands Website.
- Fees:
- Toronto office staff
will accept fees for the following Mining Lands services and
products:
- MCI abstracts,
- claim tags,
- photocopying,
- claim maps
(segments) and
- prospector's licences (issued from Sudbury)
- Tweed
office staff will accept fees for
- claim tags,
- prospector's
licences and
- claim map orders.
