OGS Far North Talks
As part of the Ontario Government’s Far North Planning Initiative, these talks are designed to provide a context for: a) the Ontario Geological Survey Aboriginal engagement approach; b) the state of geological knowledge about Ontario’s Far North; and c) the Earth resource potential of Ontario’s Far North.
OGS Public Geoscience Talks
One aspect of the strategic direction of the Ontario Geological Survey is the raising of awareness and understanding about the value of public geoscience, specifically the work by the Ontario Geological Survey. This series of talks is targeted at non-technical audiences. The approach is to relate the value and influence of geology to the interest of the audience. This approach is complements the Ontario Government’s OPS Ambassadors Program (Attracting Talent and Engaging our Employees).
