What We Do

What We Do

The goal of the Precambrian Geoscience Section (PGS) is to improve the understanding of Precambrian geology and mineral deposits of Ontario and to convey this knowledge to the public through the multidisciplinary geoscience projects that address critical geoscience problems in key geographic areas. These projects may be delivered as part of the PGS core bedrock mapping function or through collaborative partnerships.
