Groundwater and Geology
Talks Presented at the Groundwater and Geology: Foundation for Watershed Planning Workshop sponsored by the Ontario Geological Survey and Conservation Ontario, November 17, 2009. Nottawasaga Inn, Alliston, Ontario, Canada
A series of talks by OGS and Conservation Authority geoscientists on a range of topics related to the relations between geology and groundwater and implications for managing the resource on a watershed scale. Presentation topics included: Surficial Aquifer Mapping; Bedrock Controls on Groundwater; Karst Influences; Buried Channel/Valley Aquifers; Ambient Groundwater and Investigations; Regional Groundwater Studies; and Data Presentation.
