Ontario Geological Survey - OGS

The Resident Geologist Program is a component of the Ontario Geological Survey.   In summary, it is a geographically dispersed program, operating 11 offices in 10 Districts across Ontario, in order to monitor and stimulate the economically and environmentally sound development of the province's geology and mineral resources.  More detailed information about the Program is available.

All program offices are open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time, with the exception of the Kenora and Red Lake offices, which are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time (9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time).
