The Northern Prosperity Plan lays out the McGuinty government’s initiatives for economic and community renewal in Northern Ontario, and for the continued development and growth of the province’s minerals sector.

This Northern Prosperity Plan Progress Report touches on key initiatives introduced after the plan was launched in June 2004. It also tells about some of the projects accomplished by northerners and the mineral exploration sector with help from provincial programs.
