Water And Sewage Upgrades Tapped For Parry Sound Industrial Park

Parry Sound is upgrading the water and sewage system at its industrial park.

By rebuilding its wastewater infrastructure, the municipality will be able to attract new industrial and manufacturing activity to the area and retain current business tenants.

These upgrades will help the municipality market the park as a fully serviced facility, stimulate the local economy, create jobs during construction and retain as many as 150 existing jobs.

  • Homeowners in Carling Township will also benefit from new wastewater infrastructure, leading to an enhance quality of life.
  • The NOHFC is providing $752,700 to the project through its Infrastructure and Community Development Program
  • In November of 2004, The NOHFC contributed $164,443 to upgrade the Parry Sound Industrial Park water system to meet the requirements of the Drinking Water Systems Regulation.
