Euphoria Smoothies and Bistro is officially opening tomorrow in downtown Sudbury.

With Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) assistance, Geoff and Amy Hatton purchased the machinery and equipment required to prepare and sell smoothies, frozen yogurt as well as gourmet pretzels and coffee.

The shop has created one full-time and two part-time jobs.

  • The NOHFC’s Young Entrepreneur Program provides up to $25,000 to northern residents aged 18 to 29 to start their own for-profit business in the North. Geoff and Amy Hatton received $25,000 to open their shop.  
  • Since 2005, the program has invested nearly $6.2 million to help launch the businesses of about 270 young entrepreneurs in the North.
