Young Sudbury Entrepreneur Launches Online Education Service

A young Sudbury entrepreneur is now helping companies and learning institutions provide online education to their employees and students.
Miranda Rocca’s Creative ELearning Design will create educational content that is interactive, engaging and accessible online to rural areas in the North. The new company will also help clients transition their classroom training into an online environment.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is helping to fund the launch of this business.

QUICK FACTS
- The NOHFC’s Young Entrepreneur Program provides up to $25,000 to northern residents aged 18 to 29 to start their own for-profit business. Ms. Rocca is receiving up to $24,028 for her project.
- Miranda Rocca holds a master’s degree in online education.
