New Technology To Improve Monitoring Of Northern Climate

McGuinty Government Supporting Innovation And Economic Development In The North

A Sudbury company, Symboticware, is developing unique technology to monitor the environment in harsh settings including freezing temperatures.
This new technology will collect real-time data on climate, air and water qualities in arctic and remote Northern Ontario locations. The monitoring devices provide a cost-effective way for users to obtain statistics and help make better-informed decisions.
The project is supported by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC).
