New Pedestrian Bridge Built In North Bay

McGuinty Government Enhances Northern Highway Infrastructure

North Bay residents will now find it easier to walk, run or cycle their way through town.A new pedestrian bridge has been built over Highway 11/17, which will enable pedestrians and cyclists to cross the busy thoroughfare safely from the Frost Street area to the city core.
Construction of the bridge started in August 2008 and created 28 local jobs. Supported through the Northern Highways Program, this new bridge will help improve pedestrian safety and make the town more accessible.
