Wood Manufacturer Boosts Local Economy In Hanover

McGuinty Government Supporting Businesses, Creating Jobs

NEWS

A wood veneer manufacturer is creating about 28 additional mill jobs and further strengthening the local economy in Bruce and Grey counties.

Hanover Veneer produces high quality veneer panels used for doors, kitchen cabinets and office furniture. The facility opened two years ago and the latest expansion will provide the community with more employment opportunities and other economic spin-off benefits.

Supporting companies like Hanover Veneer is an important part of the government’s plan to boost the competitiveness of the province’s forest sector and support rural communities.
