The City of Temiskaming Shores is expanding and upgrading water, sewer and road infrastructure in a commercial subdivision off Highway 11 so new businesses can build onsite.

Through the support of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), this commercial infrastructure development will create about 60 construction-related jobs. Work will get underway in the spring of 2010 and is expected to be complete by September 2010.

When the first two businesses are built and open on this new site, it is expected that 70 new jobs will be created.
