Trade, Investment AND STRATEGIC SECTORS Unit

We work closely with northern businesses, economic development practitioners, industry associations and agencies, and other levels of government to:

  • Put northern Ontario "on the map" with investors and buyers in industry sectors and geographic markets important to northern Ontario
  • Promote the goods and services from northern Ontario
  • Market northern Ontario as a great place to live, invest, and do business

To accomplish this, we organize and participate in numerous activities, including:

  • Trade shows and conferences
  • Incoming and outgoing missions
  • Familiarization tours
