Financial Assurance Table

Mines and Minerals Division: 

The Financial Assurance table (updated June 30, 2021) shows the proponent, sites, total dollar value of financial assurance and form of financial assurance. The table includes a listing of the form in which the financial assurance can be provided (examples: cash, bonds, letters of credit, mining reclamation trust, financial test, pledge of assets, a sinking fund or royalties per tonne).

Bulletin - Extending Exclusions of Time for Claim Holders Due to COVID-19

The COVID-19 outbreak and related public health requirements are special circumstances that have created challenges for all claim holders in Ontario. Given the present uncertainty over when current health and safety measures will ease, we acknowledge that some claim holders may still be having difficulty planning or executing work programs.
