Description:
Gerald Blakely proposes to remove 700 tonnes of white pegmatite from a test site (noted on page 9 of the application report) to assess the marketability of the material as a dimension stone. If successful, the proponent will file the Final Report for the Permission to Test Mineral Content and proceed to production under the Aggregate Resources Act. Additional bedrock stripping, core drilling and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) will further determine if the stone can be successfully quarried and marketed.
