  • Q. What is the Northern leaders Forum?
    A. The Northern Leaders Forum is a one-day event in Timmins on December 6, 2013. The forum brings together municipal, Aboriginal and community leaders and a number of government ministers to work to identify the opportunities to advance the objectives of the Growth Plan for Northern Ontario.
  • Q. Why are you hosting this Forum?
    A. This is an exciting opportunity for the province to engage municipal, Aboriginal and community leaders in Northern Ontario on how we can work together to further implement the Growth Plan for Northern Ontario and build on the competitive advantages of Northern Ontario.  It is part of our government's plan to support a dynamic and innovative business plan that attracts investment and creates jobs.
  • Q. I am not a northern “leader” but I would like to participate. How can I do this?
    A. The key parts of the Forum will be live-streamed so that you can watch the forum online.
